Join our team of medical professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with kidney disease! The Registered Dietitian provides nutritional services for the facility’s in-center and home patients as applicable in order to maximize the patient’s nutritional status and improve clinical outcomes.
Works as part of the Interdisciplinary team in order to improve the patient outcomes and optimize patient care.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Able to identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Effectively analyze multiple abstract and concrete variables.
Comfortable utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and other computer programs as required. Effective interpersonal skills essential. Must maintain positive relationships with all members of the health care team, patients and their family members, visitors and the general public.
Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation) and the ability to interact in a positive, motivating manner.
Demonstrated interest and ability to work with chronically ill patients.
Able to identify, assess, and resolve problems in a timely fashion.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition/Dietetics License/Certification: Registered Dietitian as per Commission on Dietetic Registration. Current certification of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Experience: Minimum of 1-year professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
Education: Master’s Degree preferred.
License/Certification: Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition preferred.
Experience: Previous renal experience preferred.
