Position Description:

Registered Dietitian Manager THIRA Health - Bellevue, WA  

THIRA Health seeks a Registered Dietitian (RD) Manager to join our multidisciplinary team with direct experience working with Eating Disorder (ED) and/or mental health patients as well as an interest or expertise in the relationship of food and mood.

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, flexible, a team player, and have experience working in a fast-paced environment. The RD Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Dietetic team and all meal/nutrition-related aspects of programming and patient’s nutritional care and services.

Job Responsibilities: Manage all program meals/menus and snacks for PHP patients that would positively impact treatment of anxiety and depression for both IOP and PHP; delegate as needed Provide direct nutritional care for PHP and IOP patients including, but not limited to, nutrition assessments, care planning, and monitoring as needed Manage nutritional coordination of care with clinical treatment team and assist in treatment plans for patients as necessary Manage coordination of weekly meetings with patients to develop meal plans and establish/assess nutrition goals Oversee creation and implementation of nutrition/mealtime policies Oversee maintenance of kitchen cleanliness and organization Provide support and direct/indirect supervision for Nutrition staff in their role(s) including but not limited to, training, mentorship, evaluation of performance/competency, conducting disciplinary/corrective measures as needed, onboarding/offboarding, and regular oversight of all direct reports to address project statuses/timelines, etc. Manage overall productivity of Nutrition team operations; Manage and resolve all escalated nutrition issues Serve as primary liaison between Nutrition team, nursing, prescribing, and all other clinical disciplines to ensure consistent cohesive multidisciplinary functioning

Prior experience with eating disorders, trauma, chemical dependency, mood disorders, and/or anxiety disordered patients

Minimum Qualifications:

Job Type: Full-time, on-site Required

License or Certification: WA state RD license

Required Education: Requires Master’s degree in Nutrition or Clinical Dietetics from an accredited RD program

Required Experience: Master’s degree in Nutrition or Clinical Dietetics from an accredited RD program

Current WA state RD license in good standing with the State Licensing Board

Minimum one (1) year experience supervising and/or managing other staff

Desired Qualifications:

Preferred Experience: Prior experience working as an RD in a hospital setting, IPU, or Eating Disorder program setting
