About our speaker - Brett Singer, MS, RD, CSSD, LD

Brett Singer is a sports dietitian with Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute in Houston, Texas where he works with individual athletes of all levels. Within his role, Brett serves as the dietitian for Houston Dynamo FC and several local high schools. He has previously served as a contract dietitian with Gatorade Sports Science Institute and the NBA G-League. Brett enjoys mentoring and teaching. He has been selected as one of ten annual Fellowship mentors for the CPSDA Gatorade Sports Nutrition Immersion program in 2017 and 2019, and was also awarded as one of six national “Outstanding Preceptor” in 2020 within the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

 

Outside of his role with Memorial Hermann, Brett serves on the Board of Directors for Collegiate Professional Sports Dietitian Association. He has also previously served as an adjunct professor at University of Houston for several years.
