Marissa Beck, MS, RDN, Founder of REVV Health, is a nutrition counselor and educator with over 13 years of experience. She has worked with business leaders to drive incentive programs that have helped employers reduce healthcare premiums, and during that time counseled thousands of employees with diverse needs. Marissa received her Master of Science from Columbia University, and Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University. She enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling and spending time with family. | |
President-Elect Julie Larsen, PhD, RD, RCEP |
Julie earned her PhD in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at WSU Spokane where she currently works as an Assistant Professor. She also volunteers with Special Olympics Washington as a Health Promotion Clinical Director and has served on the GSDA board for several years in various capacities. Julie enjoys gardening, hiking, and camping. | |

Melissa is the Manager of Clinical Nutrition and Dietary Services at Valley Medical Center. She has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, food management, recipe analysis, and clinical. Melissa graduated from Michigan State for her bachelor's and Eastern Illinois for her Master's. Looking forward to keeping everyone in the loop on all our great happenings. | |
Secretary Catherine Howard, MS, RD |
Catherine lives in Bothell where she operates Catherine Howard Wellness. She supports clients in their pursuit of health and happiness by focusing on stress management and health-promoting habits. When she's not working, Catherine loves cycling, cooking and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband. | |
Treasurer Carrie Swift, MS, RD, BCADM, CDCES |
Carrie lives in Richland, WA and has been a diabetes educator at Kadlec Medical Center since 2010. She completed her BS and MS degrees through Washington State University. Carrie has been a long-time volunteer leader in the diabetes and nutrition fields. She lives with her husband and their two dogs. In her free time Carrie enjoys reading, and playing tennis and pickleball. | |

Megan is a dietitian with Providence Elderplace/Pace. She holds a Master’s in Human Nutrition from Marywood University with a thesis focused on Age-Related Macular Degeneration. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Food and Nutritional Science from Seattle Pacific and attended culinary school at The Art Institute of Seattle. Megan is a native of Montana but has been in the Pacific Northwest since 2010. She resides in Lynnwood with her husband David and rescue terrier Banjo. |

Ginger Hultin owns Seattle-based concierge nutrition practices, Champagne Nutrition® PLLC and Seattle Cancer Nutritionist where she helps clients solve complex health mysteries with an integrative approach. She specializes in vegetarian/ diets, integrative oncology nutrition, supplements, and nutrigenomics. Ginger also enjoys talking to dietitians about professional development, improved communication, and social media strategy. Ginger currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She is the Chair of the Member and Student Advisory Committee at the Academy, immediate past-president of the Greater Seattle Dietetic Association, past President for the Chicago Academy and past chair of the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. She was awarded Emerging Dietetic Leader in Washington, 2020. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and Bastyr University. |

Director, Policy & Advocacy Nicole Stendell-Hollis, PhD, MS, RDN |
Nicole Stendell-Hollis is an Associate Professor at Central Washington University. She conducts research focusing on childhood and adult obesity prevention, with current research evaluating the effectiveness of a large Corporate Wellness Program overseen by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist on employee health outcomes. She is the mother of two daughters and loves living in the PNW! |

April is an associate professor in the department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology (NEP) in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine on the WSU Spokane Health Sciences Spokane campus. April is the program director for the Master of Science Coordinated Program in Dietetics, with a teaching emphasis on community nutrition. Travel and discovering joy through cultural food traditions are two of April’s many passions. |
