Melissa Prest

Prest is an adjunct professor at Benedictine University, owns a private practice in Chicago and Seattle, and is a member of the Academy’s Renal Dietitians dietetic practice group. She has written book chapters and has researched quality of life and malnutrition in chronic kidney disease. Prest has served in leadership roles with the Chicago and Illinois Academies of Nutrition and Dietetics, Greater Seattle Dietetic Association, NW Renal RD, the National Kidney Foundation and the Illinois Council on Renal Nutrition. She graduated from Bradley University, earned a master’s degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a doctorate from Rutgers University.


President Elect

Tina Guadan Fogall

Tina Guadan Fogall has been a food enthusiast since childhood. In 2011, she received a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and started working as a therapeutic chef. Her work involved helping clients with food sensitivities, those recovering from illnesses, or undergoing cancer treatment. Additionally, she led chronic disease prevention programs at the YMCA. During the pandemic, Tina decided to pursue a graduate degree and become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She graduated from Bastyr University in 2023 and completed her dietetic internship at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center. Tina is now dedicated to transforming lives through the power of nutrition as an RDN.”

Kaitlin Sandberg

Kaitlin is an outpatient oncology dietitian at UW Medical Center, where she supports patients navigating cancer treatment and survivorship. She received her MS in Nutritional Sciences from UW’s Graduate Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Prior to graduate school, she spent 10 years working in marketing and product development for food and beverage companies. Kaitlin is passionate about weight-inclusive care, debunking nutrition myths, and providing practical, individualized recommendations to her patients. In her free time, she likes to explore local parks, eat lots of snacks, and spend time with her family outdoors.


Secretary
Robin Holliday

Robin is a newly credentialed, second-career registered dietitian nutritionist beginning her journey as an outpatient dietitian at EvergreenHealth Hospital. After a successful 17-year career at Starbucks, where she held leadership roles in store management, logistics, and supply chain, she made a fulfilling career change to nutrition. Robin earned her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bastyr University and completed her dietetic internship there as well. The Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics recognized her passion for service and leadership with the 2024 Outstanding Student Award, a testament to her passion for service and leadership. Originally from Oswego, New York, Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from SUNY Brockport.

Ginger Hultin

Ginger Hultin is a Seattle-based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and owner of the concierge, virtual nutrition practice Ginger Hultin Nutrition where she helps clients with complex health conditions through an integrative approach. She specializes in anti-inflammatory diets for integrative oncology nutrition, people with gastrointestinal disease, and autoimmune issues. Ginger serves as adjunct clinical faculty at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle. She is the House of Delegates representative at the Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, a past Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and past-chair of the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and Bastyr University and is currently pursuing her doctorate of clinical nutrition at the University of North Florida.

Aria Wexler

Aria is a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified diabetes care and education specialist. She holds a degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Business Administration from Dominican University. Aria specializes in diabetes management and nutrition education during pregnancy. Committed to increasing healthcare access for all, she has actively volunteered with the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. In her free time, Aria enjoys creating pottery, camping, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
